738 MILLION people do not have access to a clean water supply worldwide, according to Water.org. The problems range from poor water treatment regulations, lack of effective piping and infrastructure, lack of a nearby water supply, corporate dumping of pollutants, or even dumping waste into the rivers themselves.
We can improve our fellow man's access to clean water.
How?
Potabl will be examining multiple different charities and purification projects looking to combat the water problem. We will rate the organizations and teams based on several important criteria, namely cost-effectiveness, budget breakdown, current, past, and future activities, and successes. Two new organizations or Projects will be rated every week. Look for us to complete our tour by the end of April, 2013.
